Covid Quarantine, Day 16: Paranoid

Covid Quarantine, Day 16: Paranoid

Unfortunately, things are getting worse.

My state now has over 1,000 confirmed cases. A state-wide, stay at home order was finally issued by our governor, starting at 5 PM Monday.

The county I live in already closed schools for 2 weeks, and a stay at home order was issued last week, making this state-wide order nothing new for my family. Still, I’m glad that the state is starting to crack down so we can start flattening this curve ASAP.

I made trips to my local grocery store and Wal-Mart. I really wanted to do online pickup, but all slots were booked for the 6 day and 2 day windows, respectively. The stores were light on a few items, but thankfully I was able to get the majority of items on my list.

The paranoia is starting to kick in. As I have vulnerable people in my household, I make sure to “suit up” during my visits to essential businesses by wearing a face mask and gloves. Anything perishable that I buy gets washed once it enters the house. We leave non-perishables in the garage for 3 days, hoping that it will minimize the chance of the virus getting inside.

Tiger King Update

I spent my Saturday evening watching episodes 4-7. There’s too much that went on, and GIFs say a million words so you can see how I felt about each episode in my Twitter thread below!

Wash y’alls hands and stay safe at home! ✌🏽
